Alaska's Beads & Things had been 'in the works' for years, then in 2007 things came together & we could opened a store - yea team. I'm Tracy Dawn, I was born & raised in Alaska, have done beadwork of all kinds as well as quill work, leather mukluks, sea grass & birch bark basketry but the beading seems to 'suit' me. I'll add more later, we're still 'in the process' around here. Some of my custom work includes gloves, mukluks, hats, necklaces & Christmas decorations. I work in both fabric & rigid surfaces, there's always something new happening in the store..
